Period Drama Living Room
This long, double-aspect living room in Manchester kept all its period bones: stained-glass windows, deep cornicing, ceiling roses and the original floorboards. Lisa gave it a darker, more dramatic edge. Walls in an inky near-black make the white plasterwork and shutters stand out, and two glass-drop chandeliers mark out the length of the room. A deep grey modular sofa wraps around a glass and brass coffee table, the grand piano takes the bay, and brass ladder shelving flanks a cast-iron fireplace with a wood burner. Lamplight and candles keep it cosy rather than cold.

Behind the Studio
“Everyone deserves to live in a home they love, no matter the budget.”
Lisa is self-taught, which means she learned this trade on site and on real projects rather than in a classroom. She shares what she knows: the budgets, the decisions, what really goes on behind the plasterboard. And because she stays with every project from first sketch to final styling, working with trusted trades who know how she works, the finished home stays true to the design.
