Hotel Chic Living Room
This boutique-hotel-inspired family space is designed to feel elevated yet completely liveable. Anchored by a floor-to-ceiling media wall built around a centred log burner — flanked by built-in shelving, concealed cupboards, Calacatta porcelain tiles and reeded walnut-effect cabinetry with metallic decorative screens — the scheme uses hotel-style zoning to create distinct areas, including a screen-free reading corner with a sculptural armchair and brass-legged walnut side table. Sustainability ran through the project, with the client's original carpet retained and layered with a tone-on-tone rug, while finishing touches like sheer curtains on bespoke fabric-wrapped poles, oversized artwork, a corner-mounted vertical radiator and chocolate-and-toffee textiles complete a warm, quietly luxurious room grounded in a repeated palette of walnut, brass and soft neutrals.
